Wednesday morning I will head to Chicago to attend Book Expo America. This is supposedly the biggest conference in the publishing industry. It seems really geared towards publishers, agents and book sellers and I’m not sure the writer’s role at this conference. I was encouraged to attend by my publisher. She has several author passes available and will be showcasing Waldorf Publishing 2016 books of which Native Moments is one so I didn’t want to pass on the opportunity. This will also be the first time I get to see the physical copy of the book. She will have advanced copies to give out. I’ll report back about what writers can gain from Book Expo because I haven’t found very much online about what to expect as a writer. Hopefully, I gain some insight to pass along to everyone.
